The Ardsley-Secor Volunteer Ambulance Corps (also known as A.S.V.A.C.), is composed completely of volunteers. Since its establishment in 1962, it continues to respond to emergencies throughout the Ardsley community including the entire Ardsley school district. [1]
History[]
On December 16, 1965, the Ardsley-Secor Volunteer Ambulance Corps accepted delivery of its first headquarters. This 1,300 square foot building was a donation of the First National City Bank (now Citibank), who had formerly been using the building as a temporary branch in Mount Vernon, New York.[2]
